Yachad Religious School
Yachad means "together"—and we live that name every single day. At our school, together isn’t just a word—it’s a way of life. Students, teachers, clergy, and families come together to create an experience that speaks to today’s kids: one that’s engaging, personal, relevant, and deeply relatable.
Yachad is where tradition meets innovation. We explore and celebrate Judaism in ways that are meaningful and joyful, blending timeless values with fresh, creative approaches. It’s not just about learning—it’s about living our heritage in a way that feels real and exciting.
For our 4th–7th graders, Wednesdays are something special. Students can choose from a variety of chugim (interest groups), where fun meets deeper learning. Whether they’re diving into arts, music, social action, or Jewish culture, they’re discovering the value of their time at Yachad—and building community while they do it.
At Yachad, we don’t just teach—we grow. By learning together and creating lasting connections, we help students understand how their Jewish roots give them strength, identity, and a foundation for the future.
Our Mission Statement
Temple Emanu-El learners of all ages are motivated and engaged by our clergy and educators to grow into confident and committed Jews through a progressive, innovative and diverse curriculum for all ages. With a love for Am Yisrael and Torah as our guide, our learners develop a deeper understanding of Jewish values, ethics and Tikkun Olam (social justice and repairing the world). We strive to be a community of learners, finding value in our teachings, willing to reflect upon and share our knowledge, as we participate in Temple and Jewish life. We aspire to look upon and see in each of us T’zelem Elohim (God’s Image).
